FAQs

Can the Create Markers extension be customised for our specific needs?
Yes. If you or your business need any custom alterations/additions email info@creativeworkflowsolutions.com with your requirements and I'll be in touch.

Is there a limit to the number of markers that can be created?
Not that I've found.

Can the Create Markers extension be used on audio clips?
At this stage no. It is something I'll look into for future versions.

Sometimes Create Markers takes longer to create a marker than usual.
The extension has to check every track and clip to see if there's a clip selected so the more tracks and clips you have the longer it's likely to take. To reduce the amount of time it takes reduce the number of video tracks and/or the number of clips.

Notes
The Create Markers extension was designed for working with single track stringouts but if there are other features or functions you'd like to incorporate into your workflows we'd love to hear about them.

One future function we'll be looking to add is custom profiles. This will allow users to create profiles based on specific tasks, i.e. organisation, colour, titles etc. Each profile will have several values for marker name, colour and comment and allow users to simply switch between them rather than having to re-enter the data.
